Chickens and Eggs

Everyone is always asking "what came first the chicken or the egg?" There are many many problems with this question that I have trouble believing that this question is so popular. My first point is does it even matter? the answer to which is, of course, no. Secondly the very question itself implies an answer that the chicken came first. In asking the question the chicken is always mentioned before the egg. You never hear people ask, "what came first the egg or the chicken?" My final point is the most import. This is in all respects a false choice. The question itself assumes that either the chicken or the egg came before the other. It is entirely possible that both the chicken and the egg came at the same time, rendering the correct response to the question to be neither.

Honestly why don't people ask more important questions like why the sky is blue? That's what I really want to know...
