Hockey Scores BlackBerry App
Now available for free in BlackBerry App World is the Hockey Scores app that is the quickest and most effective way to get NHL scores from across the league straight to your phone.
This is done in a simple and efficient way so that the scores can be updated as quick as possible, and require no effort your part.
The application is now available through BlackBerry AppWorld and supports most devices running OS 4.6 or newer. Supported devices include the Pearl Flip, Bold, Tour, Storm, and most Curve models. Is it just me? I tried to get this via the online App World. It sent a link to my email. That brought me to a page which gave me a link to load via App World but when I click on it, it says “Loading…” forever. Then I went into the App World manually and searched for “Hockey Scores” and it did not come up.
This is on a Curve 8330 running 4.5.0.138, btw.
A minimum OS of 4.6 is required, which is why this app was unable to load on your 8330 BlackBerry.
I tried to do an uninstall and reinstall of this app on my Storm running OS 5.0 and now its no longer available in the App Store? WTH?
Hockey Scores has had some issues on the server side of things, and has been temporarily pulled from AppWorld while they were being fixed. An update to remedy these problems along with the addition of some more features has been completed and should be available in AppWorld soon. I will post on this blog when it becomes available. Thank you for your patience while this issue gets resolved.

Hockey Scores version 1.5 has now been approved through BlackBerry AppWorld and should be available for download.
I just get a 'No Connection' message. Does this work for BES users? Thanks.

It would be nice if it worked over a
Wifi network.
There is no reason that BES or WiFi should cause this application not to work.
